Rob Russo is an experienced lacrosse coach with over a decade of developing players at every level. He is the 8th Grade Coach and Board Member for Madison Youth Lacrosse, where he has led teams to multiple CONNY North championships. He also served as Head Coach of the 2024 CONNY All-Star Game. Rob has coached club lacrosse with TeamCT 2030 Navy for six years, helping transition the team from the A to AA level and capturing tournament championships at the Green Mountain Games, Primetime Vermont Lacrosse Classic, and The Gauntlet. He has also coached at the high school level, including two years as Monsignor Farrell JV Offensive Coordinator and one year as a volunteer assistant at Cheshire High School. A lifelong athlete, Rob played basketball, outdoor track, and lacrosse at Monsignor Farrell High School, where he was team captain and earned CHSAA All-League honors his senior year, and represented New York City in lacrosse at the 1998 Empire State Games. He went on to play four years at the Division I level as an attackman for Sacred Heart University, where he was recognized as a 2021 Scholar Athlete. Off the field, he holds degrees in Engineering and Computer Science and enjoys family time and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
