Sam Barbetti

Sam Barbetti is from East Haven and the head coach of the North Haven High School varsity lacrosse team. He is passionate about leadership, competition, and developing young athletes, as well as takes pride in building a strong team culture both on and off the field.

In his collegiate career he won two conference championships — one at Saint Joseph’s university of CT and one at Pfeiffer University. Serving as senior captain at GHS in 2020 and again as senior captain at Saint Joseph’s in 2024.

During my college career at Saint Joseph’s, I recorded 61 career points, 337 ground balls, and a 54.4% faceoff win percentage. I was honored as Team MVP, named to the 2024 NEILA All-Academic Team, and selected to participate in the 2024 NEILA East/West All-Star Game.
